AOF 2012 is currently accepting submissions for Film, Video, Composers Writers, Documentary, Artwork and Animation Now! In our Film and Video Categories, we accept Features, Shorts, Experimental, Animation, Music Videos, Action Sequences, in all genres etc. In our Written Word Categories, we accept Scripts, Scenes in all genres, Action, Adventure, Comedy, Drama, Experimental etc., Please note, all Film and Video Rates for submission are based on running time, i.e, a Doc under 45 Mins will be entered via the Short Category over 45 Mins would be entered into the Feature Category.

There are several ways to submit your films to AOF please see below for more information. Please read carefully, the information below is very important.

RULES AND REGULATIONS: All entries will be judged on content, creativity, imagery, story and skill of the filmmaker. Productions produced from 2006 to July 2012 may be submitted. Works in progress will be accepted. All films must be submitted on VHS (NTSC system only) or DVD (Region 1) for consideration by the Selection Committee. (PAL system VHS will be accepted but there will be $10.00 charge for transfer.)
All films submitted must be available on Digital Format (NTSC) or DVD (Region 1) for presentation. All entries must be postmarked by the deadline date.
A completed entry form must accompany each entry. All entries must be sent to the Action on Film Festival prepaid and, for your own protection, should be insured. Videos and DVDs submitted will not be returned. Films selected for the Action on Film Festival will be announced no later than August 7, 2012.
All presentation materials for the Action on Film Festival must arrive in Los Angeles no later than August 15, 2012. Please notify us by mail, fax or email of any address changes.

All filmmakers who provide SASE or Postcards will receive notification of inclusion into the festival within 30 days of the festival preview. All accepted filmmakers will be placed on the AOF Website 30 days before the event for all categories selected before that date. Late entries that are accepted will be posted more closely to the event dates.
