2008 AOF FEST IS THE HOME FOR NEW AND ESTABLISHED FILMMAKERS

Dear Filmmakers, we know how difficult it is to produce good work. After you have written the script, raised the money, done the casting, shot the work and then headed into the perilous territory of post production. The last thing you want to think about is where you are going to show your masterpiece. AOF has proven itself to be one of the most 'producer friendly' festivals out there and we make certain guarantees unlike other festivals. For instance, we guarantee that we watch every film that is submitted. A number of festivals don't bother to do this and frankly, we find it a little insulting. We guarantee that every filmmaker we accept will have a home for the life of his or her work with the AOF. We can only extend this offer through 2008 as our 'guaranteed' family is now well over 1,000 filmmakers but by doing this we know that we are putting together a high quality, one of a kind event. We are also giving filmmakers a home to grow, experiment and showcase their talent. We guarantee that we will always offer more than we ask. For instance, every submission is guaranteed a $50.00 Hollywood Scriptwriter subscription just for entering. And our goodie bags are pretty good too.

What we are trying to say is, we want your work. Unlike most film festivals who are dependent on your fees to run their shows, our event is sponsored by people who love film. This allows us more freedom on the type of films we accept and the quality of our show.

Actor / Producer Michael Madsen to Receive the Prestigious Will Rogers Pioneer Award At the 2008 AOF Festival. Madsen is the star of Sin City I and II, Strength and Honour, and more than 150 film and television productions.
