AOF Distribution

After months of exhaustive negotiations, Action On Film is proud to announce that they have developed deals to bring non-exclusive distribution to over 100 Films, Videos, Animation and Experimental Projects beginning in April 2006. Unlike many other deals that filmmakers are used to, this is a complete non-exclusive package where a filmmaker provides his or her film and AOF will then create custom artwork, master the dvd and then set up the title for sales through the two companies for both home market, major chain stores, direct dvd sales and of course online distribution. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO COST TO THE FILMMAKER AND THE FILMMAKER RETAINS ALL RIGHTS TO HIS OR HER PROJECT. We believe that through this opportunity, filmmakers will be able to market their projects while maintaining ownership and control of their work. In addition all filmmakers will retain 60% of all sales created by their title.

The first titles made available to this program will be set and ready to go over the next few weeks and filmmakers who AOF feels have a strong chance of success will be contacted to see if this program works with their marketing plans. All accounting is handled by third party accountants to ensure accuracy with payments. All AOF entrants will not qualify for this program and sales will depend upon the public acceptance of the projects that do qualify. More details to follow in the upcoming weeks.
