NARRATIVE: The Action On Film International Film Festival accepts short and feature length films of all categories. If you are unsure which category your film falls into please choose no category and AOF will decide for you. This division includes, Action, Drama, Comedy, Sci-Fi, Horror etc.,
DOCUMENTARY: The Action On Film Festival accepts documentaries of both feature and short length.
ANIMATION: The Action On Film International Film Festival screens all forms of animated films of both feature and short length.
EXPERIMENTAL: The Action on Film International Film Festival will award several prizes to experimental film, acknowledging the expanse of the art form.
ACTION SEQUENCE: Got a great action scene or sequence or a great shot with a moving camera or dolly? Well this is your division. If you don’t feel the overall project qualifies but you have a great sequence, this division is for you.

All entries will be judged on content, creativity, imagery, story and skill of the filmmaker. Productions produced from 2003 to June 2006 may be submitted. Works in progress will be accepted. All films must be submitted on ½” VHS (NTSC system only) or DVD (Region 1) for consideration by the Selection Committee. (PAL system VHS will be accepted but there will be $10.00 charge for transfer.)
All films submitted must be available on Digital Format (NTSC) or DVD (Region 1) for presentation. All entries must be postmarked by July 15, 2006. (Early submission discounts apply until June 1, 2006 – see fee schedule.)
Previously Broadcast Materials are eligible for entry.
A completed entry form must accompany each entry. All entries must be sent to the Action on Film Festival prepaid and, for your own protection, should be insured. Videos and DVDs submitted will not be returned. Films selected for the Action on Film Festival will be announced no later than July 7, 2006.
All presentation materials for the Action on Film Festival must arrive in Los Angeles no later than July 15, 2006. Please notify us by mail, fax or email of any address changes.

ll filmmakers who provide SASE or Postcards will receive notification of inclusion into the festival within 30 days of the festival preview. All accepted filmmakers will be placed on the AOF Website 2-3 weeks before the event.
