Actress Betsy Cramer will perform sections of the AOF 2007 Nominated Screenplays and Scenes. The AOF has hired Miss Cramer to read sections of the nominated scenes for tape and the tape will be shown thorughout the entire AOF Fest. This is the first time this has been done and it is a great way to introduce the AOF audiences to the incredible writing submitted to the 2007 Festival. Miss Cramer will interpret each piece individually and the pieces will be shown in a special screening room created just for this purpose.
About the actress;

Betsy Cramer moved to Los Angeles in October of 2003 by herself, knowing only a few casual contacts there, without a job, without a permanant place to live, and not quite sure of exactly what she wanted to do once she got to LA. All she really had was a beat up Ford Taurus Station Wagon full of clothes, $1500 in the bank, a super heavy, archaic laptop running Windows 95, and the clear conviction that somehow, she belonged in the entertainment industry. It was on that three day non-stop road trip from Northern Indiana to Southern California that Jack Kerouac’s quote from “On the Road” began to make more sense than ever to her -- “…I was halfway across America at the dividing line between the East of my youth and the West of my future.
